To feel like a bird
The world taste different today. It feels like feathers falling from a cracked sky, that has given so much it has begun to break down, give in, show the black outside of the blue. It has been that hardness I have always felt as I roll down hill through the parades of people who never look sideways instead they stare constantly at what is straight ahead, and I feel a strange feeling of irony as the peace of life swings from the trees, mimicking with its hammock like smiles that wait to be filled with the weight of ourselves, the bodies that need to relax against the world again, to feel the dirt on the outside of toes and fingertips. To finally be above the petty arrogance of society that always strives to be better than the person before, and the person after, and calls itself alone, because alone is sometimes the only safe place inside a world of walls. To finally be able to run away from the lives that have felt like walls, and jump and leap into the skies with black cracks.
